An elegant seaside town on the Adriatic coast, Grottamare has one of the most beautiful historical centres in Italy located at the highest point of the town.

The medieval town centre comes to life in the evenings and from the colonnade in the Piazza dell’arancia you can appreciate a wonderful view!

The town centre is distinguished by interesting Liberty villas, mainly found in Viale Colombo.  The promenade, along with that of San Benedetto del Tronto, is one of the most characteristic in the region with its luxurious row of palm trees, imported from the Canary Islands in the early 1900s.
